[ale] mounting an SD card

no reloading, it said command not found- /var/run/clamd.sock
PaulsPC:/var/lib/clamav # find / -name clamd.sock -print
find: /media/floppy: No medium found
PaulsPC:/var/lib/clamav #    

ok, so I don't have a clamd.sock. so freshclam seems to be running, but 
I have no clamd process, am I actually doing anything?

and, to answer my own question, under system services, clamd was turned 
OFF...
