Atnex has no port blocks, and their mail server takes SMTPAUTH, so your client
autnenticates itself and their mail server knows that it's ok to relay for you.

They don't currently have a newsgroup server, so you'd still have to use the
separate news server.  So far I'm finding I don't miss it, which is surprising
considering how much I used to use the newsgroups.  But at this point, the
newsgroups I use are all on private newsgroup servers, not in USENET proper.
