So now we've crossed over into total fantasy land...  :)

I am moderately convinced that the US population is not brain-dead, but
brain-asleep. Too much TV, junk food, trite euphemisms, and not enough
actual reading of text, cooking real food and conversation that actually
conveys ideas.
