Without equipment to see what the power consumption is this will be hard
to calculate on what my computer draws.  

My ZE1250 HP laptop with a 75w power supply would consume much less
power.  I typically use my computer to run 3 programs.

1.  Evolution
2.  Firefox + multiple tabs
3.  10+ xterm windows.

I have a 19" LCD monitor.
