Paul,

Excellent, thanks.  That worked exactly as intended - though I had to give
it a path still (/home/step/Desktop/locate_files.txt).

I'm assuming that's because I don't have priviledges to write files in /.
Permissions are something I'm going to have to learn about soon, probably.
