Just before the rebate expired, I jumped in and bought one. I finally 
got around to getting it working today. Nice little printer. I've had 
zero luck getting remote printing working on Linux. Years ago, it worked 
fine, but not today. :( Samba, ziltch, likewise with Cups. I didn't go 
back and try remote lp though. Decided a $50 printer was less frustrating.
