[ale] Hauppauge WinTV 150 card and Suse 10 (follow-up)

Thanks Mike.
I have Suse 10, kernel 2.6.13-15.
My Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150 is in the first PCI slot (I think) and is not
directly connected to my Sound Blaster Live! card in the second PCI slot.
Suse recognized the card, but did not create any /dev/video entries, and the
default TV applications didn't work. XAWTV tries to come up, but then
disappears. KDETV comes up, but is a blank screen with no obvious options to
find out what is wrong. I don't know where to look to see log entries, if
there is such information.
I read somewhere that IVTV was required, so I downloaded
ivtv-0.4.1.tar.gzand installed according to directions i found,
probably on the
ivtvdrivers.org site. (By the way, I just now found another site with more
directions, but haven't tried them yet: www.differentpla.net/422)
I then ran YaST2 to config the card (didn't know exactly what was needed,
however). I changed the loaders default description of the card (which
appeared to be correct already). I changed the card (card 0) to
vendor=Hauppauge, car=WinTV PVR.
I then clicked on expert settings, which allowed me to choose kernel
modules. There are several entries for ivtv that I think were not there
before I did the ivtv install. My last selection here was "ivtv: iTVC15_16
driver". I then chose "not connected to sound card" and "do not use IRC".
When I go back to scan for channels, I get the error:
"The kernel module for TV support could not be loaded. FATAL error inserting
ivtv: /lib/modules/2.6.13-15/default/extra/ivtv.ko: Unknow symbol in module,
or unknown parameter (see dmesg).
Here is my DMESG. You can see a previous choice I made when trying to
configure the card:

I am out of ideas. I've been reading internet search results for several
days now, but haven't found any that seem to help me solve this problem.
Thanks for any suggestions. I would like to get the card working so I can
proceed to setting up MythTV.
