INLD has also outsourced all of its billing and most of its support staff to
the Philippines. USA-based support is only staffed 8-8 M-F these days
instead of the 24/7/365 they used to be...

..or they saw a peak in profitability and wanted the cash to focus
elsewhere.
Something is up in the hosting/datacenter world these days, Interland just
sold
all of their dedicated hosting servers/services to Peer1 today. I suspect
it
is just a lot of market consolication, sort of the same thing you see in the
wireless and telco space.
