[ale] 8mm DAT tapes with data

There is a professor here at UNCG in NC that has backup tapes from 
earlier research with tar archives.  We don't have an 8mm DAT tape drive 
to use to get the data off the tapes.  Is there any businesses that will 
extract the data onto a DVD by chance for a reasonable price?  Failing 
that, does anyone on the list have access to such a drive and would be 
willing to help out?  It is crystallography data of soluble proteins 
from what I understand.  Thanks,
