[ale] Free Monitor to a good SUN home

My wife's company moved location and their IT department unloaded a bunch of
monitors for free. We got 3 of them. One was bad, one was ok and one was
"Strange". The "Strange One" of the monitors that my wife picked up was a
SUN 17 inch GDM-17E10 that has a funky plug on it. Unfortunately my only
Sun box is a SunBlade 100 that can not use this type of plug. A sysadmin at
work is familiar with it and says other Sun gear uses/used it. As I don't
care to buy any adaptors or cards for it I am passing it on. I don't know
if it works or not so there is no guarantee on it. If no one wants it it
will be disposed of at the next Cobb County Electronics Disposal event or
sooner (as soon as I can find out how to unload it for free and am assured
it won't go to a landfill).

It has a funky plug on the end that has 2 large female inlets followed by 2
staggered rows of 5 pins each followed by a single female inlet. Googling
shows this is something called a 13w3 type plug common to SUN gear. A
picture of this type of male plug can be found here :
http://www.monitorworld.com/Cables/13w3_page.html . I know that you can
buy adapters for $15 to $30 for it but I don't care to buy any HW right now.
There was also something about needing a "fixed frequency" monitor card to
run it but that sounds kind of fishy to me.

Other information on the monitor:

Max Resolution: 1152 x 864

I live in Kennesaw, a short bit off of I-75 (2 miles) near the college and
the first one who wants it can have it - you just need to come get it.
Preferably soon (this weekend). Email me for instructions to my house and
my phone number.

Good day,

Greg
