~ When I was still using KDE, my GTK fonts were all nutso like that,
too. I mucked about with ~/.gtkrc and ~/.gtkrc-2.0 and things shaped
up. When I switched to Gnome, I accepted the defaults to overwrite my
kludge of setting the aforementioned files. My distro is Debian
unstable/sid on PowerPC.
