[ale] Webcrawlers can harvest ALE Archive E-mail Addresses

I'm assuming since anyone can view the ALE archives on the
web, this means that e-mail addresses can be harvested by
webcrawlers. Not good. In an attempt to help limit spam,
I've made every effort with my primary account to keep any
text form of the address off of the web, e.g., my web site
displays the address as an image file. Unfortunately, if
I do a Google search of that address, it pops up in ALE
archive hits. And only there. :( Very disappointing!
Try it with your own address.
I've sent messages to postmaster and admin at ale.org, but
with only bouncing or no reply as the result. Does anyone
else feel that the list manager should take a look at the
situation?
Thanks,
Jim Hopkins
