[ale] SUSE SLES9 SP1

I was hoping that someone can clear something out for me. I just received
and installed my copy of Suse SLES9; also installed all the updates through
YOU.

In regards to the SP1, do I need to install this SP on a fresh installation
or it (the SP) will automatically figure out the neccessary patches to apply
and otherwise? Does the latest suse update done through YOU supercedes this
SP?
