Have you compiled php with ms-sql support? If so, you should be able to
just use "mysql-like" function calls:
Ex:
mysql_connect("host","uid","pwd");
would be
mssql_connect("host","uid","pwd");
it looks pretty ubiquitous, but I haven't used it personally (yet).
