I've done several FC2 installs and 2 upgrades from RH9->FC2 and one
upgrade from RH8->FC2. All have been very smooth.
The only glitch I have found so far may be a hardware issue with a
possible flaky IDE tape drive on a Dell server.
I do recommend as soon as FC2 is installed to do a "yum upgrade" to
bring on all new bug and security fixes.
The only places I have had any issues have been on the RHx->FC2 upgraded
machines. I have some issues with the official FC2 mozilla crashing (it
needs to be upgraded) and some issues with Evolution crashing on the
RH8->FC2 machine. Several prior apps had to be upgraded or recompiled
(as to be expected). Some new apps (scribus) work much better than
before.
I have not hit any "show stopper" bugs. Bear in mind, I'm not a KDE user
and RH derivatives have a long history of not having the best KDE setup.
FC2 now ships with XFCE as an environment option (which is really nice
for those low memory, low speed laptops I have).
