[ale] OT: KVM Switches?

Howdy!

My only problem with Belkin KVM's is that I have an 8 port Omniview for
home. It's a few years old. I've had many instances where if you move the
mouse or accidentaly touch keys while switching between ports it will freeze
up that particular port and sometimes all of the ports. I've not had the
best of luck getting it to work again without powering down all of my
equipment (including KVM) and bringing it all back up again. Is this normal
or just me?

Thanks,
John

I've had a lot of luck with the Belkin KVM's. Found a 16 Port OmniView
Pro on Pricewatch for $468. Monarch has an 8pt for $307 on Pricewatch,
so they've probably got a 16 for a comparable price too.
