[ale] Compaq raid disk. How do I format?

/dev/ida/c0d2 is the correct device to fdisk on. 
My RH73 system on a Compaq 1850R with hardware mirror (RAID 1) shows
/dev/ida/c0d2 as a block device instead of a directory.
