I'd second that.  I've actually been doing some surveillence 
video-streaming using a dedicated DVR catching a port forwarded from the 
firewall. 

Good enough setup, but the DVR itself is rather limited- only 4 cameras 
can be connected to it, and I think they've actually got at least 10 or 
more up there (at a parking lot near the airport).

What would be a good, cheap way to integrate that many cams with some 
sort of streaming network delivery, other than getting more or a larger 
DVR, that is?  I was thinking a capture card connected to a 
multi-channel video patch-bay gizmo, with some sort of methodology to 
switch the channels on the patch-bay...

Would this be something X-10 could do well?  What would be the best kind 
of card to get for this?
