[ale] spyware and IE

I don't think so. I use Firefox (firebird / moz) almost exclusively,
and only fire up IE to test site layout / design stuff. When I go to
see folks that use IE though, there are almost always one or two
'toolbars' installed, and just about every site out there gives me some
kind of targeted popup. When these folks see my surprise at the crap
that they put up with, they ask me what I use. I gladly tell them, and
leave them a Knoppix disk to 'test it out'.
