I have been trying to download the iso's for 2 days and I cannot get more
than 39 MB worth before FileZilla dies out. So is the whole world trying to
get this stuff or what ??
Also, since I am the sole dictator ..er director of the Consortium I would
like to announce that a spot has opened up. Mr. VanWierren's membership has
been terminated with due diligence and we now have an opening ... for a
member more appreciative of my 2 cycles of thought.
just kidding.
So are we going to wait to see if Mr. Suse/Novell can bring us a copy of
Suse Professional 9.1 to the ALE Central Meeting ? ... or should we go ahead
and purchase our own copy asap ??

Yup, it is a shame..
If you would have given it more thought we would probably ended up with
something cool like this:
The group of linux users who are openminded but cheap and do not want to
have to pay high prices for open source free software and since we are a
loosly formed group well i think we are a group that desires to team up to
purchase and distribute for reduced cost to its members a copy of suse linux
9.1 because if you think we are all going to pay $90 for an update and not a
full release you have to be out of your mind so we are just a cheap
consortium of fillibustering aspiring degenerating linux users who are
cheap.
Yup. I agree. Consortium is so weak when compared to a group name like
that. Next time try and give it more thought. We would really appreciate
your due diligence.
Have a nice day

Actually I just called it the first psuedo-cool thing that came to mind, as
opposed to "Cabel" or "Cartel" or "Combine" or "Purchase Alliance" or some
such thing. I just wanted a subject line that would help me pick out the
stuff immediately. I only used about 2 cycles of thought on it.

One question: Even though I signed up to share the cost of buying one
copy of SUSE 9.1, I must have missed the initial post on this. Why is
this a consortium?
1 : an agreement, combination, or group (as of companies) formed to
undertake an enterprise beyond the resources of any one member
