[ale] ms works file

Works is an abomination. Even M$ has a hard time with those files. It is
possible to convert, using M$ Works itself, a text document to a .doc
file that MS Word can open. Then OOo can open it as well.

As far as reading a native .wps file, Abiword is your best bet.

Later versions of works include a crippled version of Word that write
broken .doc files. Word has a special process for opening those .doc
files (it takes longer). Then an edited file from MS Word in Office can
no longer be opened by Word in Works.

I look forward to the day when that crappy company is bankrupt from
loosing lawsuits for defective products.
