[ale] run app from *dm?

[James P. Kinney III]

I would like to run gok (gnome onscreen keyboard) in the GDM screen. I
need a pickboard to log in with. It looks like the other stuff visible
are not so much applications as settings.

Any ideas on how to approach this?

(The Compaq TC1000 is a  cool gizmo. XP blows chunks as it overwrites
the MBR on each boot up)
