Don't forget the age old Plan and Pland for group calendaring.  KOrganizer is 
my favorite calendar app.  Mozilla 1.6 Calendar module is very nice too 
visually but I don't know much about its functionality.  Check out MrProject 
for project management.  xmbase-grok is another ToDo list and database 
program.  I'd think you'd want a something you could grow into so check out 
Kroupware's functions and caveats too.
