[ale] Recommendation for DVD burner

I think the LaCie drives are well supported by K3b which uses the dvd burning 
tools from Andy Polyakov, AFAIK.  We use a internal 4x DVD+/-RW IDE drive on a 
PII 350MHz machine running SuSE 9.0 with great success.  I have an external 2x 
-R/RW/RAM LaCie firewire burner that I need to have K3b driving.  It is on a 
RH9 system and I haven't tested K3b on it.  I'd hate to have to deal with XP 
or MS products for DVD burning.  K3b also doesn't require root access to burn 
a DVD.
