[ale] modeline for Dell 2001FP

I've been trying to figure the correct modeline and XF86Config settings to
drive a Dell flatpanel at what it should be able to do.

I want 1600x1200 at 60Hz vertical and 75kHz horizontal refresh rates and a dot
clock of 162MHz.

The current modeline is being rejected by the Xserver since it says the
horizontal sync is out of range. Here is the current line:

"1600x1200" 162.00 1600 1624 1976 2000 1200 1201 1204 1256 +HSync +VSync

The video card is Nvidia Quadro FX1000 w/128Mb

I am just not sure how to manipulate the horizontal specs. Dell docs specify
that the monitor is capable of 1600x1200 only at 60Hz. The pixel clock is
162MHz for the monitor from the docs too. I'm sure the card ought to do that.
I just have the horizontal sync set wrong. Dell didn't have a Linux
modeline preset under RedHat Ent. 3.0 so when I switched to SuSE 9.1 I wasn't
concerned. Now that I can't seem to get it set, I've gone back to the
modeline docs and am frustrated with trying to figure it out manually. Any
advice? Thanks,
Dow
