"SCO Group Inc. (NASDAQ:SCOX), the software developer suing to 
collect money from users of the Linux operating system, on 
Thursday reported a quarterly loss versus a profit as revenue 
fell 52 percent.

"Lindon, Utah-based SCO, which claims that parts of the Unix 
software code it owns are used in the free Linux operating 
system, posted a net loss of $15 million, or $1.06 per share, in 
its fiscal second quarter versus net income of $4,5 million, or 
33 cents per share, a year earlier.

"Revenue fell to $10.1 million in the three months ended April 30 
from $21.4 million a year earlier."
