The 2402w is supported in the 2.6 kernel, since you're running mdk 10 
you should be good.  Go to http://www.prism54.org for the instructions 
on getting it going.  I've got three cards based on the prism54 chipset, 
one with 2.6 kernel, the other two with rebuilt 2.4.
