The July ANUG meeting on July 13th at the
Atlanta Novell Office,
2400 Lakeview Parkway
Suite 550
Alpharetta, GA.The doors open at 6:00 PM with food, networking and
technical discussions.

This Month's Topic is - Groupwise on Linux

Many organizations are moving to Linux and the open source computing
environment to take advantage of the increased flexibility and lower
total cost of ownership they offer. One of the major obstacles many
organizations face when planning the move to Linux has been the lack of
a messaging and collaboration environment with features equivalent to MS
Exchange.

Novell GroupWise has provided enterprise mail and collaboration features
for over ten years, and pioneered many of the collaborative features
found in MS Exchange, and supports many functions still unavailable in
Exchange. However, because GroupWise until recently has only been
available on the NetWare and Windows server platforms, it was not
considered an available alternative for a Linux environment. With the
introduction of GroupWise for Linux, this is no longer the case.

Join us at the July ANUG meeting where James Taylor of The East Cobb
Group will present a review of the GroupWise server features and
functionality, and a demonstration of a live GroupWise for Linux system.

Bring a co-worker to show them what's new with ANUG! We look forward to
seeing all of you Tuesday.

The doors will open at 6 PM, and technical Q&A will take place between
6:30 and 7:00. ANUG business and Announcements will begin at 7:00 and
the presentation will take place from 7:30. The meeting will close at
9:00.
