If you just want to burn to CDDA, the best way would be to use a Mac, 
or iTunes for Windows. Converting them to mp3, as you surely know, will 
create even more sound artifacts.

Another way to do it, is to use Playa[1]. Now, I have not tested this, 
but the site says they have a command line version of it that can 
decode AAC files to wav, I presume without going though the analog 
loop. If it does what it says, you get the sound on the CD with no loss 
of quality from the original AAC.
