I should apologize, and clarify:  I was not in any way attacking the tech 
people at UGA, who I am sure like the rest of us work too hard for too 
little pay and fight an uphill battle against politics, politics, 
politics.  The "university system at large" in my previous email really 
was referring to everybody -- the admissions people, the faculty, the 
politicians, everybody who thinks it's just IT's problem and that security 
happens by magick, or anybody who doesn't think about it at all. Awareness  
is all I was referring to, and I apologize for not making that clear.

Did that help? probably not. I'll go back into my dark cave now.
