Got another job for y'all.  We need a senior Java developer.  (This is in 
addition to the junior developer opening I sent last week.)

nuBridges is an early stage company created to develop technology and
processes which will enable eBusiness connections between companies and
their business partners more quickly and at substantially less cost than
with current approaches. We seek to provide the next generation of tools
for eBusiness connectivity, and to make their use in the marketplace
pervasive.  We are seeking a Senior java developer with 5+ years
experience in enterprise software development to assist in the design
and development of our eBusiness software platform.  Working in an
agile, fast-moving startup environment, the selected hire will help
perform custom integrations for our business partners, update and
maintain our core software system, mentor junior team members, support
our operations and customer support team,  and help change the world of
eBusiness forever. Salary will vary with experience, with a base range
of $70k - $85k/year, an excellent benefits package and stock options.
This position is contract-to-hire, with a 3 month contract period and a
contract rate of $40 - $45/hour.

 

Requirements:

   College degree, preferably an advanced degree in computer science or
a related field.
   5+ years professional Java experience
   5+ years RDBMS experience, preferably with Postgres
   3+ years professional J2EE experience
   3+ years Linux experience
   3+ years JSP/Servlet experience, especially with Struts and Tomcat 
   2+ years JBoss experience
   2+ years experience with agile development methodologies (such as XP
or Scrum)
   1+ years Apache Axis/SOAP/Web Services experience
   1+ years Unit testing, especially with Junit
   1+ years XML
   Because the security and integrity of our customer's critical
business systems are extremely important to uswWe will conduct a drug
test and background check as conditions of employment.  

 

Strong plusses:

   EAI, B2B transaction processing, knowledge of ebXML, xCBL, EDI, and
other B2B standards; knowledge of data mapping and translation software

   In general, the more experience with open-source systems, the better.
