[ale] USB->IDE problems

Hmm. I just found my USB -> laptop IDE adapter. That drive comes up as
sdc (I have 2 other sdx devices already on). And it sees the entire
drive. But that drive is only a 4G.
You may have found the reason it was sold on ebay.
