My penny's worth
I just said so long to the person who runs my ISP, he came in to fix my
email which quit working after an internet worm ate up his servers,
windows based servers. His comment was, "it was easier to put in point
and click software when I started my business, now I wish I had taken
the time to set up Linux" that from the mouth of a person who has not
slept in 48 hours because of a security flaw in windows.
Windows buffs will diminish as time goes on and Linux proponents will
gain numbers, in spite of the mass marketing of MS.
I my self threw out MS almost a year ago, and though I still have
problems to work out, I am confident the right decision was made,
especially after I upgraded all of my office suite in 8 computers for
the grand total of $0.00. this past week.
I have to throw in with Geoffrey on this one.
