Howdy!
I might be interested. so, I'm assuming syslog/ is wherever your syslogs
are being written to /var/log/syslog, 192.168.0.1 is the ip of the sending
device and facility is just what the facility the syslogs are being sent as?

The directory structure would look like this:
syslog/192.168.0.1/<facility>
