[ale] ALE NW meeting this week

I just finished reading Robert Love's book on the Linux kernel (v2.6.0).
If the meeting wasn't Thursday, I would come out and chat about it. They
made several significant scalability enhancements ( O(1) scheduler, kernel
preemption, block I/O rewrites, tossing out the BH interfaces YAY!, and
some cool VM tweaks!). If anyone is interested, I might be able to throw
together a technical presentation for the March Central meeting?
