[ale] OT: serial ata worth it?

If you won't buy the drive soon then save your money.  The 
performance specs are great for SATA but unless your putting 
the money into getting the drive now, I'd expect to save 
alot later as the volume ramps up as time goes by.  In a 
year or two you might be paying $35 for the SATA controller. 
  Same would go for the drives.
