[ale] Kernel comparison: Web serving on 2.4 and 2.6

I saw a post in a Knoppix forum that said Knoppix 3.4 would be out in another 
week or so and would include a 2.6 kernel.  But reading other posts I can see 
it taking longer.  The 2.6 kernel takes up all of the 1.44 megs of a Cd's 
boot partition and they are switching to IsoLinux.
