Its interesting that this keeps coming up. I have the same problem with
both Fedora Core 3 and Suse 9.2 on my laptop which was running Suse and
now is running Fedora Again. K3b does not work with the newest kernels.
Xcdroast does work but does not have the bells and whistles that k3b
has. Tried running as root with both distros and no luck. I have Suse
9.2 installed @ home on a PC and does not work there either. It is
running the stock kernel that came with Suse. This is real aggravating
