There are a bunch of them, but my son's favorites are:
Battle for Wesnoth, Pingus, KTron, ClanBomber, Super Methane Brothers, 
KBattleship, Armegetron

Requires Accelerated Graphics Card
TuxRacer, Torcs 

He doesn't do Windows at all, but we used to have some games he likes.
