[ale] linux recommendations

What, slackware for beginners? I thought thats what redhat and suse 
were, linux with training wheels. <g>  Honestly, I wouldn't recomend 
slackware for someone to just use if they don't intend on really 
learning linux head first, especialy if they don't have a localy 
available source of answers.
