Given the anti-Microsoft opinion of many well-known FOSS advocates,
and their tendency to be more left-leaning <cough>Stallman<cough>, and
the relatively low penetration of non-MS solutions to the hinterlands,
which tends to be conservative, it's not surprising.  Also remember
that most folks are lazy, and Firefox does not come loaded on most
PCs.
