[ale] SCSI Tape Drive with SUSE 9.2 (Resolved)

Actually Geoffry's stinit from mt_st did the trick.  Thanks again.

My SCSI cable decided the best time to die is while I'm
troubleshooting the tape drive.

I hate it when one thing breaks in the middle of troubleshooting something else.
