[ale] Can't get red-carpet to run anymore

I'm assuming this may be due to a recent gtk+ upgrade, but I can no
longer launch red-carpet:

Is this going to require uninstalling red-carpet and other related
programs and starting over from scratch, or is there another
alternative?
