[ale] Dosemu help requested

I don't have Quake, but I was able to dig up a copy of an old favorite,
WarCraft II. I downloaded and installed Dosemu v1.2.2 and freedos (on
my machine at home). Then, I modified autoexec.bat so that e:\ was
pointed at /dev/cdrom, mounted the WarCraftII CD, and started xdosemu
(it didn't seem to work in regular dosemu). Anyway, the install took
about 15 seconds, and I was ready to setup my sound card. Surprisingly
enough, it worked right off the bat, and now I'm playing WarCraft II in
one window, IM'ming in another window, and surfing in yet another. Hope
this helps.
