Perhaps you've heard it's corollary:
Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from a rigged
demo.
A friend of mine at a COMDEX like trade show once saw a *video* of
running software. His guess was that they couldn't get the rigged demo
stabilized. ;-)
