Dow:
I attended a Dekalb Democratic meeting, as I'd posted here a few weeks ago. specifically because they had invited Sec of State to provide someone from IT to answer questions. Instead, they sent an admin type who basically was there to remind the public to "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" as the systems are thoroughly tested. The audience was asking some pretty good questions and only getting the canned responses, and the moderator cut it off way too soon.
However, I came away with several handouts and one included the fact that the public was invited the last Friday of each month for a tour of the voting equipment. This paper is titled "Security Features of Geogia's Electronic Voting System". I have a couple extra hard copies if you're interested, but you can likely walk in and get one at KSU.
