[ale] raid hardware

I would second this.  I went cheap - 3 large HD's (with a huge rebate from
MicroCenter) and software raid5 on  RH 7.3 .  As long as I have a linux pc
around I can rebuild and drive on.  The array was super easy to build.  I
was really amazed - and it works flawlessly.
