[ale] SMC 2635w Redhat 9.0 woes

Look in the archives. I've experienced this 3 weeks ago.
#1) Build the driver from source.
#2) insmod the driver
#3) use pump to get an ip address.
I did not waste the time integrating into pcmcia tools. I found the
card to be extremely slow and deprecated it to Winbloze service.
I scp'ed some data with the Linksys wireless card and it took 2.5 minutes.
The SMC card took 10+ minutes. Worthless POS. I bought the SMC only because
it was $9.99 after rebate at MicroCenter.
