mpeg files cat be joined using:

cat file1.mpg file2.mpg > bigfile.mpg

When joining multiple files into one big mpg, most are sequentially
number (yeah, we know what you downloaded ;) 
so using cat *.mpg > big-pron-file.mpg will work.
