[ale] playing dvds?

I've been using the following on Mandrake 9.1 and Xine 0.9.13-11,
libdvdcss 1.2.6, xine-lib 1-beta10 and xine-ui-0.9.20 with no problems
playing rented dvd's. The attached files did not go through do to size
any one that wants them I can send directly to you, thats if anyone
wants them.

My dad's install of SUSE was the same. I've narrowed it down to missing
audio codecs for mplayer. The best fix is to build mplayer with all
options from scratch and use checkinstall to install the rpm. That way
you don't have to live with a downgraded version of mplayer.
